Every team member is professionally employed — trained, background checked, and supported by manager oversight on every visit. Not a gig worker, not a stranger from an app. A professional who is held accountable with standard processes.
We take home access seriously. Our team is bonded, insured, and goes through a background check before being hired and trained. We follow secure, consistent protocols for key handling and property access — so you can travel with genuine confidence that your pets, and your property, is in good hands.
You are notified when your service begins, and receive a GPS-backed report with photos upon completion of each visit. Transparency is key when it comes to your pets and home.
Our team understands breed-specific needs, recognizes behavioral and health shifts, and knows what to watch for during each visit. We pay attention — and we communicate what we notice, so you're never in the dark about your pet's wellbeing.
We handle home access with care and clear protocols. During your Meet & Greet, we'll discuss the best method for your home — whether that's a key, a lockbox, or a door code. Access information is stored securely and is only shared with the specific team members assigned to your household. Our entire team is background-checked through Checkr and bonded and insured, so you have professional accountability behind every person who enters your home.
We highly suggest a lock box. When a garage or key code is the primary form of access, we will request a key for backup in case of a power outage, low battery, or simple malfunction.
We operate as a professional team, and consistency is something we actively prioritize. In most cases your pet will see familiar faces throughout their care. Our team-based model also means that if a schedule change ever occurs, your pet's care never skips a beat — because every team member is trained, briefed on your pet's profile, and held to the same professional standards.
We take this seriously. Our team is Pet First Aid certified and trained to recognize signs of illness or distress. If we notice anything concerning during a visit, our manager will contact you immediately with details. If we cannot reach you and we believe your pet needs veterinary attention, we will act in your pet's best interest and contact your designated emergency contact and veterinarian. We document everything and keep you fully informed throughout.
Our pet sitting service is structured around multiple daytime visits — typically between 6 AM and 10 PM — so your pet is well cared for throughout the day and settles in for the night in their own environment. We don't currently offer overnight stays where a team member sleeps at your home. For most pets, our Signature Care Package with four daily visits provides all the coverage and comfort they need while you're away.
We care for dogs, cats, small animals, birds, and fish during home visits. We also provide homestead and backyard care for chickens, goats, and other livestock — which is a separate service. If you have a less common pet or a specific care need, just ask during your Meet & Greet and we'll let you know if we're the right fit.
After every single visit you'll receive a post-visit report through our Time to Pet portal — including GPS report, time stamps, photos, a summary of what was done, and any observations about your pet's behavior or health. You'll always know your pet was cared for, without having to chase us down for an update.
Yes. Medication administration — oral, topical, or injected — can be included in any home visit or pet sitting arrangement. We ask that you walk us through the process during your Meet & Greet and provide clear written instructions so our team handles it exactly the way your vet has directed.
For planned travel we recommend reaching out as early as possible — especially during peak seasons like summer and the holidays, when our schedule fills quickly. Members receive priority scheduling, which means their regular care dates are held in advance. For new clients, we always start with a Meet & Greet before the first sitting begins, so building in a little lead time ensures everything is set up properly before you leave.
For most pets, yes — and the difference is noticeable. Boarding facilities introduce your pet to unfamiliar environments, other animals, and constant noise and stimulation, which is stressful for many dogs and especially most cats.
In-home care keeps your pet in the environment they know, on the routine they depend on, with one-on-one attention from a consistent professional team. If your pets enjoy being social, we have options to provide them with social walks and adventures during the days. They eat from their own bowl, sleep in their own bed, and don't come home exhausted and anxious. Most of our clients switch to in-home care after experiencing the difference.
Absolutely — and honestly, cats and small animals are some of our most consistent home visit clients. They don't need walks but they do need feeding, litter care, fresh water, companionship, and someone paying attention to how they're doing. Our 30 and 45-minute visit options are designed with exactly this in mind. Many cat owners schedule daily visits while they travel, and it makes an enormous difference in how their cats do while they're away.
We provide in-home pet sitting and home visits throughout Anchorage, Eagle River, Chugiak, and JBER — including South Anchorage, Hillside, Midtown, Downtown, the U-Med District, Sand Lake, Spenard, East Anchorage, Muldoon, Bayshore, Oceanview, Bear Valley, Potter Valley, JBER, Eagle River, and Peters Creek.
Not sure if we cover your address? Call or text us at (907) 885-1394 and we'll let you know right away.
All new clients start with a free Meet & Greet — our manager comes to your home, meets your pets, learns their routine, and makes sure every detail is captured before your first visit. No charge, no commitment until you're ready.
Most of our pet sitting clients become recurring members — scheduling regular home visits alongside walks or standing care for when they travel. We'll help you figure out what makes the most sense for your household.
We're happy to help you figure out the right plan before you commit to anything.
