Hooman for Hire started in 2019 with one goal: give Anchorage pet families care they never have to second-guess.

Today, more than 750 pet families across Anchorage and Eagle River trust our team with their homes and their pets. We've been named Best of Alaska Pet Service every year since 2023.

Every Hooman is an employee, trained to our standards before their first visit. They learn to notice the small changes in body language, appetite, and energy that tell you something isn't right, and they know what to do next.

Positive reinforcement and enrichment guide everything we do, from a 30-minute walk to a full week of in-home care.
