Hooman for Hire was started in 2019 with one goal: to build the kind of pet care company Anchorage actually needs and deserves. Our founders came from veterinary medicine and that background shapes everything about how we operate, who we hire and their training experience, and how we show up for your animals. We integrate extensive pet care knowledge and enrichment into every service we provide, ensuring your pets are fulfilled beyond a simple walk or snuffle mat, no matter their physical capabilities.

Every new client starts with a free Consultation before services start — our manager comes to your home, meets your pets, learns their routine, and makes sure everything is set up before day one. No charge. No pressure.

From there, our managers ensure each employee is set for success, reviewing details and notes with your small care team. Most pet families are familiar with to 2-3 of our staff for their services.
